The board needs to know who you are in order to use many of the new fearures. Consequently, for many of these features to work, you need to enable the cookie option Preferences part of your Profile.

If you are logging in from a computer at home, or from one you have sole use of at work, you won't have to re-enter the password, if you select "Remember my username and password in a cookie" in the Preferences part of your Profile.

Even if you have sole use of the machine at work I suggest you select the "Clear the cookie when I exit my browser" option. You will have to log in once, but for the rest of the session the machine will automatically enter your username and password.
