I've heard that the best way to learn about the industry is to voluteer at a restaurant. I'm very interseted in doing this but I have no clue on how to ask or apply to be a volunteer at a reputable restaurant. If anyone has any info, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Pick a day that you can actually work show up early and at theback door.Pick a restaurant first and almost anywhere will take free eager labour.However voulenteering will make most chefs
work you harder.It will be worth it in thelong run if you can work for free. Aim high as it will be going on your resume someday.
