I am Interested in attending the FCI but I'm wondering if the quicker degree is comparable to the associate degree at CIA
What is a "quicker degree"?
It's a degree or it ain't.
Recently the CIA became Middle States accredited, it's a real degree that is transferable for credit.

I was just asking if the skills I would learn at FCI would becomparable to those at CIA. My parents have doubts about FCI because the curriculum is not laid out in normal semester form as CIA's is.
CIA is the place to go if you can afford it. FCI has a questionable reputation for a lack of a harsher word. How old are you? What is your goal? Do you have any experience? What your needs are will really determine where you go to school.
I am 22 yrs.old, and am currently attending culinary school at a community college in Dallas. I have experience in both front and back of the kitchen. My goal is to be the best chef i can possibly be and want to learn as much as possible and never stop learning. Also money is no problem so my options are wide open.
CIA, if that is your situation!
Thank you for the advice
If money is no problem the CIA is the way to go.

The Culinary Degree is top notch, and they have a director and a pastry chef that are certified, and maybe a chef instructor.
you wanna be good...you wanna learn...
