I am looking at attending culinary school in France in a couple years and think the Ecole des Arts Culinaires et de l'Hôtellerie de Lyon looks most promising. I'm wondering if anyone here attended there and if so, I have a few questions. I'm looking for something a bit more in depth than Le Cordon Bleu. Any other recommendations in France?

Check out <http://cookingcareer.shawguides.com>. The best cooking school in France is E.S.C.F. <http://www.egf.ccip.fr/ENGLISH/index.htm>.
E.S.C.F. was founded by the Paris Chamber of Commerce in 1932 to offer professional foodservice training.
Institut Paul Bocuse <http://www.each-lyon.com>, is a private, for-profit school.
A German master chef had recommended E.S.C.F. to me because of Alain Ducasse's association with that school. Ergo, E.S.C.F. is regarded as the best professional cooking school in France. However, the decision is ultimately yours to make. Choose wisely.
Bon Chance!
