I am a first year culinary student and i was wondering if anyone could give me a little help with an assignment i am doing for nutrition. I need to find 5 breakfast items, 5 lunch and 5 dinner items that are mainly complex carbohydrates and/or fibre. I have a few ideas but i really want to "wow" my instructor. can anyone help??

I don't mind giving you an idea for one assignment, but I'd feel like I was doing my kids homework if I gave you too much more....

I will, however give you some ideas about where to look. Try vegetarian, macrobiotic, middle eastern and/or African cookbooks, websites, etc. Moosewood cookbooks are great for vegetarian, and their "Sunday's at Moosewood" has a great variety of vegetarian foods from all over the world. Think of places where the diet consists of mainly complex carbs and research the foods there. You'll find plenty! Good Luck!
