Hi, looking for restuarant sugestions in Colarado for an upcomming vacation. Any ideas on contemperay American cooking and or western in the area of Aspen, Basalt and Grand Junction. Thank you

Try Jucy Lucys in Glenwood Springs for a super piece of meat.

Grand Junction: "chefs" on North Ave.

Basalt: A really super mexican joint just before you get into town NORTH entrance to town, sorry don't know the road or the name of the place. Very authentic, WARNING!!!be prepared to look the other way when looking over their sanitation practices. Good food though.

Aspen you should have no problem finding some good chow!

The Black Bear Inn, is on the road, Route 7, between Boulder and Estes Park. Very good classical german/bavarien cuisine by old school chef.
