We wrapped up a golf tourny Monday nite hosted by Southern Wines and Spirits. Many of the local hot restaurants/chefs where there lending support aka food to soak up the free wine. Someone brought about 100 loaves of bagettes for 140 people. I got to mingle with the folk, drink some damn fine wine, and eat some really nice food. Then those of us that got scholarships were shown off to the nice people with money. We raised $20K in scholarship money for our hospitality department.

This looks to be a good year. I love my classes, they are going to be tough as hell. and Chef Diaz is cracking the whip. I'm happy again.
