I haven't heard of an "International Chefs Association" but there is the "World Association of Cooks Societies"

There is mention of the "International Corporate Chefs Association" but beyond one press release there is not much more.

Might you be thinking of the IACP (International Association of Culinary Professionals)? Their wesite is www.iacp.com. Their big yearly conference is being held in Baltimore, MD this spring. Programs look good.

supposedly it is out of Austria. On a search, I saw several chefs who had the International Chefs Association on their credentials....

The ACF/Big Apple Chapter Also carries the name the "International Chefs Association" so it's the ICA ACF/Big Apple Chapter. I'll bet George knows this. There is some history on it at the ACF website in the Center of the Plate section. The closest thing to a web site is the information on the ACF web site.
