can people post where they are from? i am guessing that most of you are from America.

i am from lancaster, which is situated in the north west of england.

i have worked as a chef at various levels in a hotel and also various restaurants. i am not qualified in any way. i consider my skills limited. i have not really done any deserts, pastry or baking. all these things i want to learn more..

I am from the US - California to be exact, and not from the looney lands either. In the central valley we are known as conservative (haha).
