Does anyone know a good recipe writing primer. Or for the better a Catering program.
Thanks...

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but I have a book called "Recipes into Type - A Handbook for Cookbook Writers and Editors" by Joan Whitman and Dolores Simon, Harper Collins, 1993.

It's got tons of information on how to write accurate, standard recipes. You have to have your own original recipe to start with, though. I used it when I did recipe development consulting to create a format for the final copies of recipes I developed for my clients. (It also has plenty of reminders on basic grammer, punctuation, etc that I needed, being quite a few years out from school!)

I know there are recipe software programs out there; they've been discussed on other threads a little, and there's one that several people use professionally, I believe. What's the name of that one, anybody?
