I am currently a junior at Stephen F. Austin state in Texas. I am working to a BBA in management. Would an associates in culinary arts in addition to a BBA be good for a carreer in the food industry. If so what are if any advantages to an apprenticeship/dgree program
Thanks,

Tommy, I work for a major contract hospitality management comapny in Michigan and I have a BS in Home Economics and also in Business Administration. I have an AS in Dietietics. I think with your background you're more marketable bacause of the management experience. Check out hdsservices.com and see what they have to offer. I love my work and this is my career. Even though HDS is 70% healthcare, they also have positions in country clubs, restaurants, etc. I know a lot of chefs that are in hospitals that do wonderful jobs especially with the retail end of it (cafeteria and catering). Good luck. email me if you want at hds840prvwst@earthlink.net. Thank you, MElissa
