We took our daughter (currently a high school Junior) to visit both Joliet Junior College and Kendall College in Evanston last week. We were very impressed with both programs and she liked them both.
Because we live in Illinois and she is still interested in Johnson & Wales, we wanted to look at these closer schools first - hoping she would want to stay closer to home!!!
Does anyone have an opinion on either of these schools? (I know Chef Fred is at JJC - we asked for you, but you were not there - Chef Von Hoff (sp?) was there)

I recommend Kendall college. I've worked with one of the externs who said the program is great. J&W is a great program, but for the money I think you may be better off at Kendall.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
