WebFoodPros.com: WanaBe a Chef: Ecole Lenotre and San Francisco Baking Institute?
By Carisia (Carisia) on Tuesday, October 04, 2005 - 07:36 am: Edit

Hello,

I've read all of the prior related topics in this forum, in particular, vis-a-vis pastry programs in France.

I understand, per Andapanda, that Ferrandi and Paul Bocuse rate at the top of schools in France. I've also researched the shaw guide.

Does anyone have any personal information on Ecole Lenotre and the San Francisco Baking Institute - and how the may compare to Ferrandi and Paul Bocuse Institute?

Thanks!

Did you ever get any info on this?
I attended Lenotre. I have a staff member who attended classes at the San Fran Baking Institute. Shoot me an email if you still out there, pk

For me the best schools in France are Bellouet Conseil in Paris and ENSP in Yssingeaux.
Lenotre is overrated, not what it used to be.
Depends on what you're looking for.
I took classes in both schools and did some teaching at the ENSP.
