WebFoodPros.com: WanaBe a Chef: Who can they call?
By chefpix on Saturday, March 06, 1999 - 01:46 am: Edit

i have many friends ask me almost daily as to where they can find various culinary programs in the US. some of these people are from different countries, and they dont even know where to begin looking. is there someone they can call to help them search for programs with their own criteria? what if they only want to know about 18 month programs? or focused area programs (garde manger, banquet cooking, etc)?

i want to help them, but where do i start?

To the best of my knowledge there is no place to "call" to get such info.

The two best resources would be the Shaw Guides web site and their book.

I have information on about 700 schools and I'd be glad to help people find what they're looking for. Just e-mail me with any questions or specifics and I'll go through my files.
