I was given the SPECTACULAR gift of a few small black truffles sealed in a jar. all the truffle recipes I have found call for truffle oil. how do I substitute? A great gift idea would be to put one of your turffles into a decorative sealable jar with some top quality risoto. The rice will absorb the flavor of the truffle and have the perfume of the truffle when cooked. Its a gift that keeps on giving.
