Thanks to the new tariff on European products you can expect to pay about 200% of last year's prices for Imported truffles. Italian white truffles are about $50 an ounce before the tariffs. You can expect to see Yugoslav truffles this year because they are not affected by the tariffs imposed on the European Community. You may also look to Oregon for white truffles at about $5-10 an ounce.
