Gloves for Mandoline

What advice do you have for purchasing gloves for use with a mandoline? Do you recommend the cloth ones (Kevlar?), or the stainless steel mesh?

SS mesh is good. Depending on what you are doing w/ the mandoline. A plain pair of cloth might be good also depending on the task at hand.
Those mandoline fingers sure do hurt!!!

None, You are just going to loose it. Learn how to use your mandoline or toughen up.

To each his (or her) own I say. But I've never had any problems with the Bron mandoline. Some of the cheaper versions will eat you up though.

Seems the biggest thing is the food you're working with and knowing how it reacts to the gadget.
