Any suggestions on good kitchen shoes, black, high tops with support and grease resistant. I used to use Bragard's shoe, they have a high top which comes in beige and an awful blue, with velcro snaps, it was great but they seem to have discontinued the high top. I tried Shoes for Crew's hight top black sneaker but, no support. Good grease resistant sole on both of the above though. They have a boot but the steel toe section is always too tight for my size. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I hate going shopping!!!

I wear low commercial rockports. I believe they make a high top. It's a durable shoe and is designed like a walker. I forget the style though.I use Larry's shoes, I call them, they have my info, they send them to me. If you call, ask them for the shoe all the surgeons wear.
Manny,
How's everything? Have you heard from spyke? He has not made it to LA yet. Do you know who he was going to help out in Colo? Chris?
Take care,
I'll bet a bud that I hate shopping more than you.

I need support Pan, those rockports I wear around daily at home, they would kill me at work though. I weigh 230!!
I have not heard from Spyke, he might be stuck in Colorado.
Things are good, they are doing that procedure on Dylan this Thursday....the doc said I'll be sleeping much better on Fri. then on Wedn., I'm so much more confident with these Docs. then the last one I was going to.
I was going to e-mail you to tell you but since you posted....here it is!!!
Thanks for all your support
God Bless

Thanks T, I just feel bad about posting non-bizz stuff here but, I know your prayers are with us and I Thank You all. Like you read, he will be having the procedure done on Thurs. at about noon, he will stay overnight at Miami Children's Hospital which is one of the best in the world from what I hear. You never realize all the good things around you until you need them! I feel very confident about the Drs., they have really gone out of their way to make the whole family feel comfortable, I hear they are like that with all families; surely understanding the anxiety of any parent in that position.

Birkenstocks as far as I am concerned are the best shoes built for people who are always on their feet or have problems with their feet, knees and back. I have the "birkie" chefs clogs. $69.99 and the best buy I EVER made. My feet used to hurt so bad after parties. I honestly wouldn't be able to move the next day and now I am up and moving around great.
You also have our prayers from here in Philly!
