The only show I watch on food network is Alton Brown's "Good Eats!".(I would watch Mario Batali but his voice annoys me, I saw the "Mario Eats Italy" show once and I just wish he would cook and not try to pimp his cheesy humor.) Anyways back to Good Eats. I like how he selects a type of food preperation and explores everything about it. His timesavers and tips ar great too. What does eeryone else think?

Alton like mario are very explanative, and give a lot more into the "why" of the "why's", and dare I say more geared like the chefs & cooks from "great chefs".
But I would like to know were boby flay finds those women on his show!!

that french guy perrin.. something like that is good, so's that english kid, from the naked chef,
don't get that name, but the best was that cajin old guy who just died. the one with the suspenders. that guy was real, down to earth and you could tell the man was having fun with no pretentious, b.s. Big pots, iron skillets, and suzie homemaker kitchen tools, did'nt fancie everything up, you could tell he had been making the dish for years.
Just my BIG 0.02
