The subject of kitchen language made me think of the what I said and did went wait staff would grab •••• in the middle of a rush not caring enough to ask if it was their order or not. I chucked a omlete pan with a half done Santa Fe in it at a waiter who snatched an on the fly order that was swipt once before which I got yelled at for the first time. I refused to cook until until I got an apology. This wasn't ego I was an egg cook for a Village Inn fer Christ's sake . I was just pissed because I'm busting my ass so he could make twice as much as me (I excepted this) and I pulled their •••• out when needed ie I fergot to put this on the ticket, the dropped tray and such ••••. I blew up big time and nearly got fired but I got the waits attention. It was me and my (pan)cakeman in training during a monday nite football dinner rush. Got the apology and plenty of beers after work:).

I have thrown a stack of sheet pans at the sous chef at my last job.
becuse I had had it with him not making sure the night guys completed the list i left them to do.
It was the third day in a row they left at night without finishing it and i got stuck being in the weeds first thing in the morning, for the third time in a row so I grab my tools and walked out.

But he talked me into staying...big mistake i should have left and never looked back, because 3 days later i got fired for giveing the exc chef an earfull about how ***ed up his kitchen was and how he sucked at running it.

And to top it off he got fired a week later by the owners for the same stuff I let him have it about....

i could not belive it

Not in a professional kitchen, but in my friends house. His mom is 68 now, but 3-4yrs ago, she let someone have it w/ a skillet! I forget the details, but he said something to her and was walking out the door, she picked up that skillet and threw it across the room and BAM! right in the back of the head. He dropped like a sack of taters! I stood there in amazment and vowed to never tick her off!
