When I was a kid, in Detroit I remember waiting for peaches to come into season.
The Peaches in Michigan were great!
They were so big it was difficult to finish one.
Now, Peaches come and Peaches go.
But the question is... was the question answered?
" How many Peaches does it take to screw up chix broth? "
Peaches, as you know don't float. And I'm pretty sure they don't cloud the mind or the liquid.
So, what went wrong?
Ah.....maybe it was the length of time the broth was cooking ?
Maybe something in the ingreidents should not have been there?
Whatever the reason, Peaches, some advice was given and I guess not taken.
Maybe someone should have gone over and looked at the broth, yes, thats it, someone from here, one of you cooks, or chef's.
Manny said I should shut up with non Pastry advice. Point taken. It just seemed so easy that,
chix, broth, cloudy, cloudy question.
Oh well, another Peach has fallen from the tree,
and here I sit with no life, writting this, as the dog is looking at me, cause he likes peaches too and he heard me say it out loud.

Hey I'm still around. I'm just trying to get the archived stuff read. You couldn't chase me off if you tried. Besides baking and pastry class is only two months away and I need some to answer all my questions. Ya gotta love this place it's about as "real world" as it gets on the net.

By Chefspike (Chefspike) on Sunday, November 17, 2002 - 02:25 am: Edit

We weren't talking about you Zeke.
Baking and Pastry class, that takes me back.
there are plenty of people here that can answer those questions for you.
you know you may have to change your name to something a little more culinary.
how about "HobartZeke" or "LaBouleZeke" LOL!
Maybe Manny can help ya pick something out.
we're still trying to find a name for Snuffy.
Anyone else have any?

I know you weren't talking about me. I was just having some fun. Yeah yer right, I need a name change. I'll give it some thought and try and come up with something. I'm called Breakfast Daddy by Chef Wray at school cause I was put in charge of feeding the twerps in my kitchen production and procedures class. He found out I was a breakfast cook once. Hows that?

Hey now, what's wrong w/ my name? Is it not original? Does it stand out? Is there a story behind it?
Yes, it's original
Yes, it stands out
Yes, there's a story behind it.

ChefSpike on the other hand... blah blah blah... lol
