I own and operate two restaurants. I am considering adding a gift card program to our marketting efforts. I would appreciate hearing about anyone's experiences. Any info anyone cares to share would be helpful.

Gift cards are a beautiful thing, you get pre-paid for product!
Just make sure they are numbered and you keep track of the numbers issued, in case of fraud. You can copy just about anything today with computers and laser printer!

Good idea, everyone loves getting a card. Always brightens up your day(unless it's a dear john lol)
Even if you don't make your own I think Its a good ides. Test it out witha small sample of cards first and see how if it catches on.
Cracker Barrel has a whole gift shop in their "lobby". They sale everything from candy to t-shirts to lil' nik-naks

It's a restaurant chain, usually by the side of the highways. It's like a country store, rocking chairs in front, store that sells nick-nacks, and a restaurant that serves up heart attacks on a plate kind of fare! Like biscuits-n-gravy with gravy, pancakes with syrup and gravy, omelettes stuffed with gravy, topped w/gravy, side of bacon and sausage with gravy, side of gravy with gravy.....It's a groovy place! You never see anyone under 250 pounds in there!!!!
