First we get hit from the left, now from the right!!!
This is payback for that Presidential election fiasco in 2000 people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By Chefspike (Chefspike) on Wednesday, September 01, 2004 - 07:35 pm: Edit |
I will use my Republican powers to stop it's advance.
Manny !!!! tell all your Demi-cratic friends to go to the beach and hold hands, stay there until the sun comes out.

Any working man is "NOT" a Republican Spike!!!!
I could not believe Arnold last night....what a loser, and to think I used to like him!!!!
Aren't the Kennedy's Dems?????
How the hell is he surviving in that family?????
By Chefspike (Chefspike) on Thursday, September 02, 2004 - 01:18 am: Edit |
got me.
hes no republican.
By Chefgibz0 (Chefgibz0) on Thursday, September 02, 2004 - 09:36 am: Edit |
I think both the Reps and the Dems should hold hands and stand on the beach and who ever has the most standing should win the election......lol.....but i think it would be hard to make a determination with the Dems because One would not be able to tell the difference between them and the fish flip flopping in the shore!!
By Chefspike (Chefspike) on Friday, September 03, 2004 - 01:45 am: Edit |
that was good.

lol on the flop comment gibz... too funny.
surely you, Manny, don't think that Kerry is for the working man? Say it ain't so.
By Poochedm (Poochedm) on Friday, September 03, 2004 - 08:03 pm: Edit |
Manny: If you wish to call election 2000 a fiasco, then how do you explain that the Washington Post, the New York Times, and the Miami Herald recounted 3 or 4 times and said that Bush was the winner. Oh, bye the way, so did the Chicago Tribune (I'm from Chicago & the Tribune sucks). If there was any fiasco, in Florida, it was because to many people were just to damn dumb to vote properly. I've been an election judge in Chicago for 15 years and I have never seen any of the kind of problems they had in Florida and we were using the exact same kind of equipment. OBTW, I have always been a "working man" and by working I mean that I don't wish to support a bunch of freeloaders and illegals with my tax dollars. It seems the Democrats are very willing and able to spend YOUR tax dollars any which way that will get them a vote from people that don't work as hard, or just don't want to work, as the rest of us. ChefDanP.

dotto.
thats how the dems have been elected so many times, they keep people on the plantation with welfare.
it's like buying votes!!!!
if ya ask me, not enough dems vacation in Dallas.
lol!
By Chefmanny (Chefmanny) on Saturday, September 04, 2004 - 06:24 am: Edit |
No, I don't think Kerry is for the working man.
Yes, the votes they counted had Bush win, it's the ones that did not get counted that bothers me.
In the US!!!...they send us to oversee elections in some countries!!!...I don't think that's happened in a while!
By Chefgibz0 (Chefgibz0) on Saturday, September 04, 2004 - 10:36 am: Edit |
Kerry is a millionaire and his wife is even richer, so how can these people relate to what the average American wants or needs........They don't and won't! They have their agendas already layed out for them by the corporations funding their campaigns. And as far as elections go.....they are starting to introduce touch screen and electronic voting......OH yah!!...I trust that! With all the things that can be done through computers i.e. virus, spyware and all that stuff, who is to say the company that made the software for those systems supports kerry and puts a program in there that changes.....oh.....40% of Naders' votes to Kerry or vise versa?? There has been all sorts of reports, of course in the not so mainstream news, of how the new "better" systems have already screwed up all kinds of elections.
------------------------
So with all this being said to each other on various threads about how none of us seem to think that either side is for the average American......What do all of you say we do to change it?? And no I do not want to hear ..."you can't change it, whine, whine, whine".
By Chefspike (Chefspike) on Saturday, September 04, 2004 - 11:12 am: Edit |
more military votes were not counted Manny than the ones from Florida. percentage wise.
that should tell anyone right there, that these people that run these campaignes for these Dems are thinking, "screw the military!".
if you were a Kennedy Dem. back in the 60's, that makes you a conservative middle of the roader today.
the dems are so far left today because of special intrest groups, that even Kennedy would not know his own party, or his own brother for that matter.
don't get me wrong, i have no special place in my heart for Kennedy, over rated, not in office long enough to do anything besides the Cuba thing, (which was Big Time)but he was just a whore chaser.
the biggest special intrest group in the dem party were the unions. back then they were what, 15% of the country?? thats a big slice of the pie. now, i bet if they had 3-5% they'd be lucky
A regular guy, or women needs to run and be elected. we need to get OUR country out of the hands of these Washington people who make a career out of politics. It wasen't suppose to be like this. but like i said before, we need a plumber or teacher or cook or truck driver to become pres.
end rant............
By Chefmanny (Chefmanny) on Sunday, September 05, 2004 - 08:08 am: Edit |
I agree, J. Carter was one of those outsiders when he was elected.
One day some guy will say, hey, I'm not rich, I made mistakes, I smoked a little weed but, I have enough common sense to do this.
Spike, why is it the people running the Dem. elections are the ones saying "screw the military"?????.....there are no Rep. voters in the armed forces?????
A vote is a vote, it should not be discarded for any reason, unless fraud is involved!
By Chefgibz0 (Chefgibz0) on Sunday, September 05, 2004 - 09:17 am: Edit |
Hey...if anyone has not noticed we do have below elitist rich running for Pres. They are called candidates running on other tickets, libertarian, independent, to name a few, only no one knows about them cuz the media won't give them air time, they do not have enough money to buy air time, and 99.9% of Americans do not inform themselves of ALL the possible candidates running for office. Just sit infront of the mind control machine you call entertainment and information and suck up all the pablum it spoon feeds you. Only worry about, enough gas in the car, is the cable bill paid, how many Big Macs am I gunna suck down today, did you see what celebrity married who and how much bigger j-lo's hinney is, and oh, I have to get that dvd back to blockbuster. What a full and rewarding life this "democracy" is providing you with. Just another pawn of the masses for the few, and I guess I will vote for Kerry cuz he cannot screw up the country as much as Bush did...... Keep on pointing those fingers at the people WE elect and not informing ourselves about how to get these people out.
----------------------
Hey, Manny! how you doing down there?? Hitting you yet? Hang in there man Frances should leave in the next 3 days or so.........

Hey Manny,
Talked to Mr. Gibson today, he was on his way to get a generator.
Thanks again for calling him.
He said power would not be back on until the 19th. in his neck of the woods.
Your not anywhere near the next storm are you???
By Ladycake (Ladycake) on Monday, September 13, 2004 - 02:35 pm: Edit |
Manny
Keep your head down, babe.
I had a friend come home for his dad's funeral during the last one and his home was right in the middle of it. Punta Gorda??? Anyway, while he was here, he lost the roof off his barn and all the trees in front of the house so his lady couldn't get out. They were out of power for only a week. He wasn't too anxious to go back. Lots of rebuilding to do.
Good luck!

The center of circulation passed just north of me here. One of the out flow bands spawned a tornado like 100 yards from where my wife works, as well as my first cooks house got tore up pretty bad. Ripped the electric box right off his house. Manny howed you fare??
By Chefmanny (Chefmanny) on Wednesday, September 29, 2004 - 09:04 am: Edit |
We got lucky again, we've been lucky all four times, just trees down and lots of leafs!!!
Not even power out!!!
My friends just 60 miles North, where the eye hit twice in the same spot got nailed!!!!....60 miles in hurricane hits is like five steps in walking terms!
We could of been a lot worse off!!!
