Its like that with any charity, United way is notorious, and 'walk for hunger' keeps the money for a yr before dishing out a penny. Without a huge bank account the execs in control have no "power".
Not that cooks need charity to get into the food biz, thats just the way people who have never worked in a kitchen imagine things are. Emphasis on imagine.
Everything seems to even out in the end.

That's why I rather give the guy on the corner the money, at least if he drinks it, it went to a good cause; not to a high paid executive sucking down Crystal on charity funds!!!!
