Going to the NY Chocolate Show!

My wife and I are going for a one day experience of the Chocolate Show at the Washington Square Hotel in NYC! Wish it could be longer but we couldn't afford more. Gonna eat lots of chocolate and enjoy the exhibits! Anybody else going? It'd be a kick to put a face to username.

Anyway I also wanted to ask a quick question. Are there any really cool restaurants near there we could go to while in town? We'll have no car but I guess we could do a taxi.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

OK my mistake it wasn't the Chocolate Show at the Washington Square Hotel (we just stayed there). It was the Chocolate Show at the Metropolitan Pavilion. But you probably already knew that.

We had a great time! Ate WAY too much chocolate, met Roland Mesnier and got his autograph on his book, Dessert University. Also took tons of pics, but I'm not sure how to share them on this forum. Any suggestions? George? Cheftim?

It was mostly a retail type of thing with chocolatiers and companies like Valhrona selling their products. Not too many exhibits. The pics I sent were just a sampling.
