We lost another GREAT Chef.
Damian Realon an Excellent chef that I worked with in New York at Windows on the World passed away from a heart attack. He leaves behind a wife and two daughters and a wonderful memory for anyone who worked with him.
He was one of the best I ever had the opportunity to work with and one of the nicest men you could ever meet.
Damian met his wife at Windows just before I started there. He and I had a great time working together and produced some of the finest food to date that I have ever had.
He passed away while at work at the Omni hotel in Cinn. Oh. Damian had been there for years and the last time we talked he was looking forward to retirement.
I had planned on stopping by to say hello while on vacation at the end of this summer.
Now, I'll stop by to say goodbye.
I always let Damian know how he helped me and what his friendship ment to me over the years.
He was one of those men we meet in life that we grow up and want to be like.
Ya can't get better than that.
Just thought you might want to know, for anyone out there who knew him or had heard of him.
We lose them fast, make sure you've said thanks.
