Read the article in the May 14 issue of Newsweek magazine titled "So, you want to open a
restaurant?: Behind the scenes at the slow, painful and costly birth of Town, New York
City's hottest new eatery". I guess all a guy needs is a good idea, a little luck and 2.5 million
dollars to be the next "Big Thing". This restaurant stuff is a cinch!

Remember all those dot-com companies that were burning through 200 million a year with no maketable product to show for it? Two point five is chicken skratch these days. As long as it's someone else's money, eh?
I still think a sports bar out by the interstate, decent steaks, cheap beers and a few big screen tv's is the way to early retirement and long life.
