I'm not a chef. But I've looked in many
cookbooks for how to make these awesome chicken
kebabs in a white cucumber/yogurt sauce served
with pita bread. The chicken itself is marinated
in garlic, I think, and probably some Greek spices? It's more street food than fancy cuisine,
but can anyone give me an idea of how to fix this
at home?

Garlic, mint, oregano, olive oil, and lemon are traditional greek.(along with the ubiquitous salt and pepper) There might also be yogurt and maybe saffron, sumac, or tumeric in the marinade. Sorry I dont have specific recipe on hand. You might try the Barbucue Bible for some ideas. What I would do is to buy one of those bags of frozen chicken tenderloins and experiment with different permutations on the ingredients tell you find one you like.

Thanks, Richard, that's a big help.
