I am in search of a source for real tapioca. Instant won't cut it. I don't want to buy it a grocery store. SYSCO and US FOODS are no help.

Does anyone know of a source?

You mean the stuff that takes a few hours to cook out and thicken up?

We use this type at work, but I'll have to get the brand name and source for you tomorrow.

Robert,
I accidentally posted my answer to your question on a differnt thread, but anyway, try Reese in Bloomfield, NJ. I have a box at home, and the distributor is printed on the back.

Sorry to take so long to reply.

Thing is, we buy ours at a local Asian market. The purchasing guy said we have tried many wholesale vendors, but to no avail. You might try and find a brand you like locally, then see who the store buys it from.

Good luck.
