Hi!
I'm new to WFP so be gentle. Have been searching all over to find edible gold leaf for upscale desserts we would like to do at our place. Please help with websites, mail order, distributors, etc. Anything would be helpful.

Thanks!

well, I think all gold is edible, in small, wait correction, very small amounts.and thats leaf or powder. powder comes in a jar, for that just add veg oil, and use a brush. for the leaf, any art store would have that. but don't take my word for it and I would check the usage amounts, by how much it takes before anyone gets sick or dies, cause I know you can get poisoned by metals.
we used to paint gold flake on choc. roses at the Rockafeller Center in NYC, years ago, oh and you might want to check with your local health dept. to make certain there are no restrictions.
and don't forget to tell all the customers who order it that it has gold on it, case some are allergic. Having done all that, Have FUN!

Goutmet Fods International, most import upscale pastry suppliers. Carma etc. Gold sheets come in a book. I prefer mixing the gold dust with alcohol. it dries much faster.
Rockafeller Center, let's jam in 1000 skaters into a small square, we're having fun now. Gosh you guys are old. What the hell are you doing up so early. Me? I'm just late for work.

I worked for RA at the Kravitz Center opening in
Palm Beach and Reflections on the Bay when they
owned it down here, then I did the tennis gig in
NY a few years and that was it. I don't remember
the year so it had to be the eighties! Victor was
a crazy dude man, we used to go drinking and he
always kicked ass, and he was about 70 already, I
guess!

Not on your life! My wife would not let me. If your talking about when I was in ny back then, yes, always. I would look very stupid now trying to kick start a hog. I think they are all elect. now.
I actually do still enjoy power though. It's probably going to be raining tomorrow but I might drive my toy, 1966 Mercury Comet Cyclone convertible GT Pacecar. one of 33. 390 over.alomost 85% restored.
ps came down here 20yrs. with a sportster and soon realized that there is absolutely no respect for motorcycles in Texas.

We are definitely spoiled in California as far as motorcycle rights, laws, respect, compared to other states.

Two words: LANE SPLITTING.

If I ever move elsewhere where I cannot lane split, it will be a travesty.

To Slave Girl,
Your my kind of Women.
Where are you in CA.?
LA I hope.
What are you doing this weekend, wanna go to a party? BBQ. Pastries. Hells Angels. Beer. Police,
(lots of those), oh and pies and donuts.
What else could a women want?
Peace.

By Slave Girl on Friday, August 31, 2001 - 06:45 pm: Edit

I don't think the Hells Angels would like me, Spyke, I ride one of those blasted crotchrocket motorcycles, not a Harley.

I'm afraid I'm about 5-6 hours north of you up in the Bay Area.

Pastries and Hells Angels. I'd love to watch one nibble a cherry danish.
