I am thinking about opening a bakery here in North Carolina. I am really excited, but stuck. i dont know where to start. Can you help? My mother in law does cakes on the side. She does an wonderful job and I think we should open a bakery together. I just need help doing it.

Baking is probably one of the most demanding jobs you can think of. Do you love it? Do you have a passion for it? Are you willing to give up much of your life for it?
Go work in a bakery for a few months. Volunteer and just absorb.
Think of the best restaurant in your area; ask if you could volunteer there.
Learn more about the business side first; the creation part is the easy and joyful part of the industry.
