I am considering making fudge and giving as holiday gifts. How far in advance can I make it and it keep its good looks and flavor?
Any tips on storage?

long time, weeks.
I think you wrap it in plastic wrap and then freeze it.
then un-wrap it when you thaw.
but check that last one just to be sure.
