I really need to know what can i use as an alternative to parchment paper. i can't find the answer anywhere and if you can help me, i'd be very happy. Thank you!

It depends what you're baking. For cakes, you can use greased foil. For cookies, grease and flour on a sheetpan.

There is also a great product called silpat: a reusable flexible silicone mat. It can go in the oven and is great for pouring cooked sugar on , but is expensive, around $30 here in Canada. If you get one, don't let anyone near it with a knife as cuts are about the only thing that ruins them.
