Would someone please explain the difference between diastatic malt, barley malt syrup, and wheat malt syrup and their difference uses in bread baking. Is it barley malt or wheat malt that one uses in the water one boils bagels in? Also, is wheat malt just for beer making or is also used in breads? Does whet malt have any other uses? Thanking you in advance.
