Does anyone know what size a #2 size can is?

If I don't see this posted by tomorrow afternoon, I'm sure that I can answer it. This info is in old encyclopedic cookbooks from the 30's & 40's. Mine are at the bakery...I'll look it up for you.

#2 size can is 2-1/2 cups.( I found that I actually had another old cookbook in my bedroom!)
For what it's worth,the list is:

8Z .....1 cup
Picnic No. 3 East (?!) ....1-1/4 cups
12 ounce....1-2/3 cups
# 300....1-3/4 cups
#1 Tall....2 cups
#2....2-1/2 cups
#2-1/2......3-1/2 cups
#3....4 cups
#3 squat.....2-3/4 cups
#5 ....7-1/3 cups
#10...13 cups
#1 square.....1 pound
#2-1/2 square...31 ounces
I'm sure all of this is completely useless, but, hey, what the heck!

From the 1952 edition of the Joy of Cooking here is a table of average size cans:
