I am also interested in breaking into food styling/writing. I'm a classically trained chef that has worked in some top notch restaurants such as Union Square Cafe, Oceana, Aquavit, La Belle Vie. I've tired of the taxing hours (nights, weekends, holidays)and want to persue a career that is more suited to my artistic tempermant. I attended college for creative writing and have a healthy interest in photography. Seems to me like a perfect marriage of interests. Any suggestions on how I might enter this field? Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thank You!

Hi Daedalus2k Try this site http://www.foodphotography.com/student.html

Sorry to tell you, working as a food stylist won't solve the "tired of the taxing hours" problem. You may want to focus on food writing.
