Leave a tel. # and an address, if I find a good deal on priceline I may just surprise you guys. I have a buddy who works for AA in Dallas but I'd hate to ask for a ticket just to go party.

Its not just a party...It's an adventure!
Address and tel. # is on his web site.
Panini Cakes.
Won't he be surprised.

The job is cool Spike. I love it. Family owned busines, really cool folks that I work with and they really try to make sure you're happy. Not just lip service. And I actually get to cook instead of prep, prep, prep all day long. Most of the restaurants I worked at had me doing that.

Panini, I want to come to the party!!! I'll even bring a fried turkey!

To George,
Come on! and that goes for everyone of you who needs a break! If you read some of these threads, it sounds like some of you do, need one. In the grand scheme of things one day is just a blip. One of the best things about this biz is getting to know and talk to other Chef's. Even if we have different opinions, hell, I'll even call Charlie!, and cyber-speckles. And besides, we are having pulled pork(?) but bring your own chix beating can. LOL. See ya there!!!!!
Peace.

Can we invite Robert??? he can bring the vaseline to lubricate the beer cans!!!

By ChefSpyke on Wednesday, August 29, 2001 - 05:32 pm: Edit

Manny, you had to say it, did'nt you. LOL.
You know he's out there,...watching....waiting....
We have to be careful, or George will " delete this thread by mistake " too. LOL
Peace.

Hey PANINI, can I make some pies there?
I need to make a couple coaconut ones, but not the layered cream kind, one that me and this chef came up with in Jamacia, Mon...I'll give you the recipe, it's great! and of course I'll pay for everything.
This is what I need:
pie shells.
coaconut.
eggs, you got those?
butter.
and I know you have my secret ingredient...shhhhh.
won't say what it is here.
What else should I bring? Let me know.
Guess Manny is not com'in, he's going to be on a boat, he should just drive the boat over, it's all water, like 85% of the way. Hopefully we'll have fried turkey from cateringkid.

Peace.

By Panini (Panini) on Thursday, August 30, 2001 - 08:21 pm: Edit

pies? no, we don't do no stinkin pies!! actually we don't do pies till the holidays. Your welcome to use the kitchen, but it's very small and there are hardly any ingredients there. It's mainly for show.
caterkid
do you put the french fries right in with the turkey. Boy, that must be some hell of a ten piece bucket! Brine the turkey, ouch! slow death, down here we just snap and cut the head off.
yea, I might have to truss some birds and do them in the oven.

By CateringKid on Friday, August 31, 2001 - 12:12 am: Edit

San Rafel? Sure is. All of Marin County is. Nice place to visit....

French fries??? HMMMM no, never thought of that. Could though. I wonder what a whole fried potato would be like? Hmm. One giant french fry...ok I gotta pull out the fryer, get the propane tank filled...I'll let you know.

You get the turkey drunk first and then it doesn't mind the brine. Shoot, if you use the right brine, you'll accomplish both!
