I never know how much dry pasta to cook when making pasta salad. I'm doing one for 70 people this week, using some beautiful colored shapes I got at our new gourmet market. Will be adding tortellini and other vegetables to this. Just wondering if there is a guideline as to how much dry pasta to cook to make say 1 cup pasta. I plan on doing two different salads along with appetizers. Planning on 1/2-3/4 cup per person of the prepared salads.
