Hi Guys!
I am participating in my first Chef's Auction on the 25th of this month. The theme is "America, patriotism, etc." and I would love any menu and/or coinciding decorative/accent suggestions. So far I am planning a fruit display and my fruity chicken salad in timbles. I was also thinking about a baked brie in croute. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This is a fund raiser for March of Dimes and they are expecting about 400 guests. Chef's volunteer their time and food and guests pay $40 ticket.
Thanks
Cindy

what about red, white & blue themed desserts, strawberries/raspberries, white pastry cream &/or white chocolate & dark choco....a caterer/friend/assoc/confidant did this with great success at showing her patriotism,,,one of her staff thought it might be a little hokey, but the clients loved it!!!!!...just my thoughts....sam sears, cec
