Hi everyone! I was wondering if any of you use a catering software program? And if so, which do you use and why? I have a couple different ones I'm looking at and wanted to see what kind of feedback any of you might have. Thanks for your help!

CaterEase is the one we use. I am happy with it... It is about 2,000.00

Hi! I just found this web site the other day and have been enjoying the discussions...
I have been using Caterpro for the past 2 years and love the program. If you are interested, I could pass on the information on it... I think we paid around $1,000.00 for it.

Thanks to both of you. Hilary, caterpro is one of the ones we are currently demoing and I think probably the one we will choose. As it is very easy to use and much more affordable then most others. Thanks again for all your help. Carl, what happened to your website? It's not up anymore! Just curious.

Matt, if you go with the caterpro software, and once you have your system up and running, would you be willing to share one of your proposals with me? I would be willing to do the same. Ours have been an evolving process. It would be interesting to see how other caterpro users set up their information. I haven't used the staffing module yet.... we hope to in the near future.

Hilary, yes I would be more than happy to trade proposals. I always like to see what is working for others. I think ours works pretty well, but there is always room for improvement. I am always looking for perfection. I never get it but I always try. LOL
We're ordering the full version this week and hopefully I can get it all figured out by then. I am still trying to learn it well. Thanks again.

Carl, thanks for the kind words and for letting me know about the site. I think your site looks great too. My only big complaint is the same one I know you heard from pretty much everyone, and that is the music. It needs to go, any proffesional web designer will tell you that is a big no. As for the rest of it, I like it.
