I have been contacted by a client that would like me to provide her family with a cooking class. This is a service I was putting some serious thought into offering. She would like me to come into her home and teach her husband and her son the basics of cooking. I know I can not teach them to be good cooks in a night, but I feel I could teach them a few basics and make for an enjoyable evening. My question is has anybody else done this and if so what did you teach and what did you charge?

You charge what you think is fair for your time.
I used to do that for $25.00 per hour/5 hour minimun a long time ago, now I would not do it for less than $50.00 per hour w/ the same minimum.
It depends on the market.
As to what to teach, ask them what they want tolearn.
