I am currently working on a very low budget short film... I have 1000 dollars to provide 6 meals. I am thinking about buying and cooking (I can cook) the veggies and providing salad to cut costs. If anyone can tell me how muchg salad & say green beans or corn I would need for 100 people and for 60 people I would forever be greatful. Thank you so much.

1000.00 per meal?
you need for 100 people or for 60 or both?
are you having a starch?
meats??
the amounts depend upon what else if anything is being served.
is this buffet or plated?

This would be a little easier with a budget of $1000 per meal but its $1000 total. Yes I know laugh now. I already have 4 meals taken care of for 250$ I will have the entree catered professionally I was just thing of doing salad and veggies myself. I am doing chicken for the 100 person meal and still looking into what to serve for the 60 person meal. Any help or advise? Thanks

Baked ziti with garlic bread and a salad might be a good option. You can do this very cost effective and it is always tasty. You can have it all panned up a day ahead and just need to bake it the day of the event.
