Can I substitute semi-sweet chips for the semi-sweet bar for baking purposes? A 4oz. Ghirardelli bar costs 1.89, and a 12oz pack of chips cost 2.29. Why such a difference? Also, I am thinking about starting a home business (selling 2 types of chocolate cakes) and need a good gourmet chocolate supplier. I only know of 2 real good chocolates, Ghirardelli and Callebaux sp? Is there much of a difference? Know any other good brands and how I can get them (in bulk)?
