: Have not tried that, but I will now. Does anyone have competition experiences they would like to share? Both positive and negative. Thanks.

Every competition I have ever entered has been an exhilarating, excruciating, and educational experience that is completely worthwhile, and - best of all- Fun!
If you want to learn, the only way is to do it is to just jump in. The most valuable learning you will do, apart from the time you spend with yourself , working on your piece, is the input and critique you receive from the judges and your fellow competitors. That's one of the sweetest parts, seeing what others are doing first-hand and sharing ideas and techniques. Good luck and have fun with it!
