Re: Reuse scrapsPosted by Ilona Sulykos on March 25, 1999 at 00:06:58: In Reply to: Reuse scraps posted by Carlton Brooks on March 22, 1999 at 19:25:08:
: Does anyone have an idea how to use the scraps? : Carlton Brooks, CEPC, CCE If the scraps are chunks of carrot cake you might make "Carrot Cake Swirl Cheesecake." Prepare the Graham Cracker Crust, make the N.Y. style cheesecake batter and fold in the carrot cake chunks. Bake it as regular cheesecake, you might finish it with sour cream topping that would also hide the carrot cake chunks on top. The flavors are basically the same as the carrot cake filled and frosted with cream cheese frosting has.
