You might want to look into a "Bosch universal mixer". It costs about $400. It is powerful, you can make bread with it and cut down on the rising time because it is powerful enough to develop the gluten faster. If you want to read more about it, look up "Bosch mixer" on a search engine and it will lead you to one of the bosch kitchen center websites. The bosch kitchen stores are located in the Nevada, Utah, and Arizona area. I have a kitchenaid and a bosch and I love them both. But you only really need the bosch. The quality is excellent. It comes with a plastic bowl, so you do need to buy the stainless steel bowl attachment for egg whites and whipping cream. It has many attachments you can buy. I use mine all the time.
