However, I've thought of a way out of this mess. Just tell your friend that you met some nice people on the Internet who would really like some good Lemon Whippersnappers, Butter Creams, and Pecan Shortbread. Would she please provide you with her recipes so that your Internet friends can get their baking done in time for the holidays? If (and only if) she agrees, then post her recipes here for us to enjoy and head for the kitchen! Good luck -- you sound like a very thoughtful kind of guy.
