Chocolate cookies are the easiest to make. I do it all the time; however, I have never made them with just butter and no shortening. I also put them into a 13x9 inch pan to make bars. I don't know what happened, but they ended up cakey. It was literally like I had tried to make a cake. I had to trash the whole thing. They didn't even taste good. Does anyone know what i did wrong?
