Years ago my mother always purchased a Spumoni Cake from a local bakery for my birthday. I have since hunted for a recipe and have never found one. The best I can remember, it had several layers of flavored whipped cream, along with devil's food chocolate cake. Any ideas on how to make such an animal? Thank you.
