Food styling is great work and takes talent. I have worked with a food stylist on photography and tv spots for a major restaurant chain.
I would be interested in what the catering women said to you and how she stays in business with that attitude!
What do you do at the magazine?
I do own an upscale banquet facility and catering company and have a casual division as well. I also own a non related restaurant and am a partner in a fairly large restaurant franchise chain (350 units) I enjoy these forums as my way of helping others and giving back to the industry. Most of what I know today has come from other professionals.
